Houhora Heads

Houhora Heads

We have started visiting Houhora Heads over the last couple of weeks.    We have spent time exploring the environment looking at the different land and marine species and their habitats which are found at Houhora Heads.  As we did at Rarawa Beach and Henderson Bay, we have written poems and drawn sketches of the Houhora landscape.  On on our final trip on the last week of school we will also be paddle boarding – how exciting!

Houhora Heads

Harbour

still, calm

sparkling, moving, fascinating

sea, boats, mountain, native

forbidding, interesting, sitting

lush, bushy

Mt Camel
